Man sentenced after exposing himself to members of the public
A 48-year-old man has been ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid community work and will be placed on the sex offenders register after exposing himself in public.
Kiran Rabdiya, of Stanmore, London, was found guilty of exposure and possession of a class A drug following a trial at Truro Crown Court.
The conviction follows his arrest on 14 September 2024 after he was reported to the police for acting suspiciously in Newquay during the early hours of the morning. Police worked collaboratively with Newquay Council CCTV to search for the man, who they sighted exposing himself on a nearby road to passing motorists.
He was arrested by officers and a quantity of cocaine seized.
Appearing before the court on 6 August 2026, Rabdiya was sentenced to three months imprisonment, suspended for 24 months. He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for seven years, complete 100 hours of unpaid work and undertake 20 days of rehabilitation activity.
A breach of the suspended sentenced will result in jail time.

55 of these convictions were for rape. These 55 perpetrators convicted carried out 99 rapes between them. These 55 perpetrators have been sentenced to nearly 400 years’ imprisonment between them.
