Two people seriously hurt in Teigngrace collision

Officers are seeking witnesses and footage following a collision in Teigngrace which left two people seriously injured.

A red Kia Ceed and a grey Nissan Qashqai were involved in the collision on the A382 near Stover School around 5.45am on Friday 7 March.

The occupants of the Qashqai, a man and a woman in their 80s from Newton Abbot, both sustained serious injuries and were taken to Torbay Hospital.

The road was closed for around eight hours as a result of the collision.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
