Appeal following robbery in Tiverton

0396.26 Robbery appeal.jpg

We are appealing for the assistance of the public identifying the male pictured following a robbery in Tiverton.

On the evening of 29 May two male suspects forced a victim to withdraw money at a cash point on Bampton Street before then assaulting him.

Enquiries have resulted in a local man in his 30s being arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has since been bailed.

The second suspect is outstanding at the time.

Officers have continued to carry out enquiries and we are now in a position to release the attached image to the public.

The image isn’t of the highest quality, but we hope it may still help identify a male who we believe may be able to assist us with the investigation.
