Appeal following collision involving car and moped in Truro
We are appealing for witnesses and relevant footage following a road traffic collision involving a silver Ford KA car and a white Piaggio Vespa 125cc motorcycle in Truro.
We were called at around 1.50pm on Wednesday 21 January following the collision on the roundabout adjacent to Sainsburys on the main A390.
As a result of the collision, a 49-year-old moped rider from the Newquay area sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Her next of kin are aware.
Officers would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road closures were in place.
