Sexual assault, Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following a report of a sexual assault on a woman, between 9.15pm and 9.40pm on Monday 21 February.

It is believed to have taken place in the subway area between Tavistock Road and Plumer Road in the Crownhill area of Plymouth.  

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, was reportedly approached by two men who police are now seeking to identify in relation to this matter.

The first male is described as a white male, approximately 18 years of age, about 5ft 7in tall, average build, he was wearing a black hoodie, black tracksuit bottoms and had black gloves on.

The second male is also described as a white male, approximately 18 years of age, shorter than the first male and of slim build. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie which possibly had Chinese lettering on one of the arms and was wearing black leather gloves.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious behaviour or may have information which could assist the investigation are asked to get in touch on 101 quoting CR/015664/22.
