Assault, Brixham

Police investigating an assault in Brixham on Friday 20 January are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers received reports of an altercation in the street involving three boys and two girls, near the taxi rank on Brewery Lane/Bank Lane, Brixham, at around 4.45pm.

The victims, a local girl and boy, both in their teens, sustained minor injuries which did not require hospital treatment.

It is believed that some of those involved are known to each other.

Police would particularly like to hear from a woman who tried to intervene and a second woman who drove the male and female victims from the scene.
