Further appeal after body of woman found in woods in Camborne
Detectives working to identify a woman whose body was found in woods in Camborne earlier this month are releasing an e-fit image in the hope those who knew her will come forward.
At 7.45am on Sunday 3 May police received reports that a body had been found in the Pendarves Woods area.
Since the discovery, detectives have been carrying out enquiries to try and establish the woman’s identity and also the exact circumstances surrounding her death.
As yet, the deceased woman has not been identified.
Investigating officers have obtained the e-fit attached so that a likeness of the woman’s face can be made public.
The Force previously released images of the front and back of a necklace found on the woman, and despite information about the necklace being received, the woman remains unidentified.
The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
