Serious road traffic collision, Ilsington, near Bovey Tracey
We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision near Ilsington in South Devon.
Officers were called at around 11.50am to a rural road in the Islington area, near Bovey Tracey, on Tuesday 6 January.
It was reported that the collision involved a quad bike and the rider, a man in his 70s, sustained serious injuries. He has been taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. It was reopened at around 3.35pm.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
