Two men charged with murder after death of man in Liskeard
Two men have been charged with murder following the death of 56-year-old Ian Davis in Liskeard earlier this month.
Mr Davis, who lived in the town, was found with multiple injuries within a property at Baytree Hill on the evening of Sunday 13 September. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Four men were arrested on suspicion of murder and subsequently bailed.
Two of the men have since been re-arrested on suspicion of murder and charged.
They are:
- Darrell Rowland, 49, from Trevarthian Road, St Austell.
- Sukhvinder Singh Shokur, 58, from Liskeard.
Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Truro Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 1 October.
A man in his 20s from Plymouth also arrested on suspicion of murder will face no further police action.
A man in his 30s from Liskeard remains on police bail after previously being arrested on suspicion of murder.
