UPDATE | Sexual assault, Plymouth

Detectives investigating a report of sexual assault at Devil’s Point car park, Plymouth have arrested a man.

We received a call stating that a man approached a woman in a parked vehicle in the car park at approximately 9.45am on Friday 18 April and sexually assaulted her.

Inspector Katy Deer said: “Following our appeal on Monday, we have received a lot of calls in relation to this investigation.

“We would like to thank all those who have come forward with information.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

A 31-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. He remains in police custody.
