Serious assault, St Austell

Officers are seeking help from the public to identify this man in connection with a serious assault in St Austell.

A man suffered a broken arm after being attacked by an unknown man at a cashpoint in Church Street.

The victim, who is in his 50s, was with a friend outside NatWest Bank when they were approached by the man who first shouted abuse. 

He then proceeded to assault the victim, kicking and punching him in the stomach and arm.

Police are investigating the 20 June incident and are keen to identify the man pictured as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
