Man charged with attempted murder, Plymouth

A 19-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident at Drake Circus Shopping Centre in Plymouth.

Officers were called to the centre at 5.20pm on Friday 12 June and found a teenage boy with knife wounds to his neck. He was taken to Derriford Hospital and has since been discharged.

Tyke Lowe, of Grafton Road, Plymouth, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife in a public place.

He is due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday 15 June.

A woman in her 30s from Plymouth was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released without charge.
