Motorcyclist seriously hurt in collision, Boyton

Officers are appealing for information after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision at Boyton near Launceston on Saturday 2 August.

Emergency services were called just after 2pm to the collision involving a red Honda motorcycle on the B3254.

The rider, a local man in his 70s, sustained life-changing injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by air ambulance.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team closed the road for five hours for investigative work at the scene.

They are seeking witnesses and relevant dashcam footage as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
