Serious injury collision, Holsworthy
We are investigating a serious road traffic collision on the A3072 near Holsworthy on Tuesday 7 July and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Emergency services were called to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A3072 near to Anvil Corner, Holsworthy, at around 10.55pm.
The collision involved a silver-coloured Volkswagen Polo.
A teenaged girl was seriously injured in the collision and was airlifted to hospital with what are thought to be life threatening injuries. Her next of kin have been informed.
The three other vehicle occupants, who were also teenagers, were discharged at the scene.
The road remained closed whilst collision investigation enquiries were carried out.
