Serious collision, A30 Chiverton
Police are appealing for witnesses with any information following a single vehicle collision which occurred on the A30 at Chiverton Cross flyover, mid Cornwall.
Officers were called around 7.34am to the eastbound carriageway on Sunday 2 June. It was reported that the collision involved a blue Kawasaki motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a male in his 70s from the Redruth area, sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was conveyed by Air Ambulance to Derriford Hospital.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
