Appeal following serious assault in Plymouth
We are appealing for witnesses and footage following a serious assault which took place outside Poundland in New George Street, Plymouth.
Officers were called to the location on Wednesday 9 September at around 4.35pm following reports of a verbal altercation followed by an assault.
The victim, a local man in his 30s, sustained minor injuries to his face and stomach.
A woman in her 50s and a man in his 30s, both from the local area, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Both suspects have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
