Two released on bail following serious assault in Helston
Two people have been released on police bail following a serious assault in Helston.
Police were notified just before 3am on Sunday 24 December to reports of an assault on Lady Street in Helston.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to Treliske Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, where he remains in a critical but stable condition. His family have been informed.
A 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, both from Helston, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have been released on police bail whilst enquiries continue.
