Burglary, Plymouth
Police investigating a report of burglary at a property on Macauley Crescent, Plymouth on Monday 4 November are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Three young men were seen in the street trying doors to houses and cars, before forcing entry to a house on Macauley Crescent.
They took some car keys from the property and stole a black Audi A3.
They also attempted to steal an Audi A4 but were confronted by the owner and two of the suspects left the area in the stolen Audi, whilst a third made off on a push bike.
It is also believed that the same males had also been trying door handles in the surrounding streets including Conrad Road and Dryden Avenue.
Detective Constable Nathan Drew said: “We are appealing to residents to check their CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage in case they captured images of the males, who may have tried more door handles than we are currently aware of.
“If anyone knows the whereabouts of the stolen Audi A3, with the number plate of EG12XAN or has any information about this matter, we urge them to contact us.”
