Serious injury collision, Brixham

Police investigating a road traffic collision in Brixham on Friday 1 March are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers were called to reports of a collision involving the rider of a Triumph motorcycle and a pedestrian on Bolton Street at around 10.15pm.

The pedestrian, a 14-year-old boy, sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s, suffered life-changing injuries and was also taken to hospital.

The road was closed in both directions while the scene was examined by a specialist forensic collision investigator.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended and are appealing for any witnesses that have not already spoken to them, but who may have seen the collision.
