Serious injury collision, Ashford
Police investigating a road traffic collision near Barnstaple are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called at approximately 2.45pm on Sunday 17 March to reports of a collision involving a Yamaha motorcycle and a Ford Transit van on the A361 at Ashford.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist, a 53-year-old local man, has received life-changing injuries.
The road was closed in both directions while the scene was examined by a specialist forensic collision investigator.
