UPDATE: Serious assault in Ivybridge
Police have made two further arrests following a serious assault on Fore Street in Ivybridge.
Officers were notified at around 9.30pm on Sunday 28 April to reports of an altercation between several men.
Police and Ambulance attended the scene and located a man in his 50s with a suspected stab wound. He was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.
Another man was also taken to hospital with lacerations. He has since been discharged from hospital. This individual, who is 30 and from Ivybridge, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in police custody.
A 53-year-old man from Ivybridge has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and is in police custody.
A 35-year-old man from Ivybridge was arrested yesterday on suspicion of affray and has since been released on police bail.
