APPEAL | Assault, Plymouth

We are appealing for witnesses and footage following a road rage assault in Plymouth.

The incident took place outside High Street Primary School, Stonehouse, on Tuesday 24 June at around 3.20pm. 

It was reported that a taxi driver was punched in the face, verbally abused and pulled from his taxi and thrown into the middle of the road.

The victim suffered a facial bleeding as a result.

A man, in his 20s and from Plymouth, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been released on police bail.

Officers have investigated the incident since it was first reported and are now appealing to anyone who witnessed it, or who has relevant footage, who has not yet spoken to police, to get in touch via 101 or our website quoting 50250161102
