Appeal following suspicious behaviour in Bodmin

Police are appealing for witnesses and information a report of suspicious behaviour in Bodmin.

At around 4pm on Thursday 12 March it was reported that a teenage girl was approached by an unknown man who made inappropriate sexualised comments towards her before walking off.

The incident occurred in the area of the Beacon Nature Reserve near The Beacon monument.

The girl immediately made her way to a safe place where police were then called.

We are appealing for information to help identify the suspect, who is described as a white man, aged in his 20’s to 30’s and around 5ft 8ins tall.

He is described as being of slight build with short light blond hair. He was wearing a light grey jumper, dark coloured jeans and had missing front teeth.

We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam or doorbell footage in the areas of Foster Drive, Bawden Road, Dawes Crescent and Treningle View.
