Appeal following serious assault in Plymouth
We are appealing for witnesses and any relevant footage following a serious assault in Plymouth.
Officers were called at around 9pm on Wednesday 24 June following a report of two men and two women fighting near the mini roundabout at Madeira Road and Hoe Road on the Barbican.
As a result of the assault, one of the men sustained a stab wound to the leg.
A man in his 20s from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been released on Police bail.
It is believed numerous members of public were present at the time of the incident, as well as people driving in vehicles who had to stop as it spilled into the road.
