Police in Totnes are asking the support of local communities to help identify the person(s) responsible for a series of graffiti that has appeared across the area.

Over the past few weeks, several instances of graffiti, including similar tags [pictured], have been seen.

Police enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspect(s) and they are appealing to communities to provide any information which may help with their investigation.

Police Sergeant Neil Powers, said: “The recent graffiti series is having an impact on the lovely surroundings we are lucky enough to have in Totnes. The local community takes great pride in keeping the area clean and tidy, and our police officers will be doing what they can to identify and stop those who are responsible.

“However, we cannot do this without the support of the public. I’d like to urge any witnesses or anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward. Together, we can identify the individuals responsible and prevent further occurrences of graffiti in the areas that make our town so special.”

Anyone with information or can report it online via the website or by calling 101 – please make sure to quote 50240128537 when reporting.
