UPDATE | Missing man, Barnstaple
Human remains located at the end of Westward Ho! Beach and on the coastline at Appledore in May last year have been identified as those of Ryan Miller from Barnstaple.
Ryan, 44, was reported missing in April 2025.
Human remains were then found along the North Devon coast on 22 May 2025.
Ryan’s family were made aware of the subsequent identification of the remains.
His death is being treated as non-suspicious.
An inquest into the circumstances surrounding Ryan's death will follow in due course.
