UPDATE | Fourth arrest in Plymouth murder investigation

Detectives have made a fourth arrest in connection with the death of 24-year-old Drew Perham in Plymouth.

An investigation was launched by the Major Crime Investigation Team after Mr Perham from Plymouth was found deceased in the water at King Point Marina, Millbay, on Sunday 25 January.

A 19-year-old man from Plymouth who was arrested yesterday, 28 January, on suspicion of murder has been released on bail until April.

Two other 19-year-old men, one from Plymouth and one from Exmouth, who were this week arrested on suspicion of murder have now been released on bail until April pending further enquiries.

Layton Randle, aged 19, of Oakfield Terrace Road, Plymouth, appeared before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today, 28 January, charged with the murder of Drew Perham on Saturday 24 January.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Plymouth Crown Court on Thursday 29 January.
