Man charged following Torquay incident
Officers were called just after 8pm on Friday 20 January to the Castle Road area of Torquay, following concerns for the welfare of an individual within the property.
Officers attended and a cordon was put in place; At around 3:30pm on Saturday 21 January, officers entered the property and safely detained a man.
Police have since charged a man in connection to this incident.
Stephen Hibberd, aged 30 from Torquay, has been charged with being in possession of an imitation firearms with intent to cause fear or violence.
Hibberd has been remanded in custody to appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday 23 January.
