We are appealing for the public’s help identifying this man in relation to a report of a dangerously out of control dog in Plymouth.

At around 6.40pm on Sunday 19 October a teenage boy was walking his dog on Blagdon's Meadow on Embankment Road when it was attacked by a Pitbull type dog.

As a result of injuries sustained during the attack the dog had to be put down.

The attacked dog’s owner also suffered scratches trying to separate the dogs.

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to the man pictured as it is believed he may be able to assist with enquiries.

We are aware of the low quality of the image, but it is all we have available at the moment and it is hoped it may still help.
