Assault, Plymouth

Police investigating a report of serious assault in Plymouth are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

It was reported that a man was assaulted on Fegen Road, Plymouth, at around 9pm on Tuesday 3 December.

A man in his 40s sustained facial injuries and a broken collar bone and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 40-year-old man from Leicester, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and has been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.

Detective Constable Regan Mullen, who is leading the investigation said: “We are particularly keen to speak to a man who was wearing dark clothing and is believed to have witnessed the incident.

“If you are this man, please come forward as you may have vital information that would aid our enquiries.”
