Appeal following three vehicle collision on A390 near Probus

We are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a three-vehicle collision on the A390 near Probus.

Officers were called at around 8.30am on Wednesday 28 January to the collision involving a silver Mazda 2, a white Ford Transit and a black VW Polo.

Occupants from all three vehicles sustained injuries in the collision and a total of four casualties were treated by South Western Ambulance Service and Cornwall Air Ambulance.

One casualty was treated at the scene, and the remaining three casualties were conveyed to hospital for further treatment.

The three hospitalised casualties have sustained serious injuries, but are in a stable condition.

Roads Policing Officers and local officers attended the scene and conducted a thorough investigation.

The road was closed for several hours whilst the investigation took place. Police would like to thank members of the public for their understanding and patience.
