Plymouth assault investigation: Appeal to find witness who ‘AirDropped’ photo
Detectives investigating an alleged assault outside a Plymouth nightclub have issued an appeal to find a specific witness who took and ‘AirDropped’ a photo of a vehicle at the scene.
Enquiries are continuing after a man aged in his 20s sustained serious facial injuries near to Annabel’s in Vauxhall Street at around 11.30pm on Sunday 4 May.
Officers would in particular like to hear from a member of the public who took a picture of a vehicle, believed to be connected to the incident, then shared it via AirDrop with a friend of the injured man at the scene. The iPhone feature allows users to wirelessly share photos with nearby devices.
No other details of the witness are currently known.

A 28-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent. He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
