Man charged with rape and murder following incident near Helston
Police have charged a man in connection with the death of a woman in her 80s, following an incident in the Ashton area, near Helston which was reported to police on Friday 29 May.
Edward Holden, 36, of Alexandra Place, Penzance, has been charged with rape and murder.
Holden has been remanded to appear before Truro Magistrates’ Court on Monday 1 June.
