Appeal after pedestrian seriously injured in collision with Mercedes in Plymouth

Police are appealing for dashcam footage and information after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Plymouth.

The incident happened in Charles Street, outside Drake Circus, at around 9.25pm on Saturday 6 January.

It involved a grey-coloured Mercedes Coupe and a male pedestrian aged in his 50s. 

The pedestrian sustained life-changing injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.

Both local and Alliance Roads Policing Team officers attended and carried out a full investigation at the scene.

The road was re-opened shortly before 1am on Sunday 7 January.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, has any information, or in a particular has any relevant dashcam footage, is asked to contact police.
