Detectives refresh appeal for witnesses over report of assault outside Plymouth nightclub

Detectives have reissued an appeal for witnesses after a man was arrested in connection with an alleged assault outside Annabel’s nightclub in Plymouth.

We are urging anyone with information relating to an incident in Vauxhall Street, which happened at around 11.30pm on Sunday 4 May, to come forward. 

Officers continue to investigate a report that a man aged in his 20s was assaulted and sustained serious facial injuries.

We would in particular like to hear from anyone who took pictures or videos of a vehicle that an individual, believed to be involved in the incident, arrived and left in.

A 28-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
