Discuss your concerns with Bodmin Neighbourhood Policing Team at Blisland Community Shop
Bodmin Police are inviting the public to Blisland Community Shop this Thursday 25th January between 10am and 12pm. This is an opportunity for local people to meet with members of the neighbourhood policing team and share any concerns they have. PCSO Michael Dodd and Independent Custody Visitor Julie Dowton will be on hand to answer any queries.
This forms part of Neighbourhood Policing Week which began on 22nd January, a national event recognising the work that Neighbourhood Policing Teams across the country do every day to actively protect their communities from criminal activity.
Adam Stonehill, Sector Inspector for Bodmin Police said: ‘It is important for us to work with our communities to combat local issues and safeguard our neighbourhoods. Local surgeries are a great way for our neighbourhood policing teams to reach out to our communities and hear their concerns first-hand. Our priorities are based around feedback from community meetings, so it is important to us that we meet members of local communities.’
Whilst the surgery at Blisland Community Shop falls as part of Neighbourhood Policing Week, members of the policing team are always there to discuss local issues and concerns. The usual surgery in Bodmin takes place on the last Thursday of every month at Blisland Community Shop and is usually attended by a representative from Neighbourhood Watch and the Rural Crime Team.
