Appeal following fatal road traffic collision on the A380
We are appealing for witnesses and footage follow a fatal road traffic collision between a pedestrian and a car on the A380 South Devon Highway, near Kingskerswell.
Officers were called at 4.30am today, Thursday 13 August, following a report of a single vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. It took place at the start of the highway between Torquay and Newton Abbot.
Sadly, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out at the scene and reopened at around 2.15pm. Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience while the road was closed.
