Appeal after business break-ins, Newquay

Police are appealing to the public to help identify these two men in connection with a series of burglaries at Newquay businesses.

Four licenced premises and bakeries within the town centre were broken into on the same night, 13 August 2023.

The burglaries happened at Whiskers bar and music venue in Gover Lane, Tom Thumb Cocktail Bar in East Street, and Cornish Bakery and Warrens Bakery, both in Bank Street.

A quantity of cash was taken from Warrens Bakery, a bottle of whiskey from Tom Thumb, and damage was caused to all of the businesses.

Police are investigating the break-ins, which are believed linked, and would like to identify the men pictured as they may be able to assist with police enquiries.  

Anyone who recognises them or has any information which may assist with the investigation is urged to come forward.
