Appeal: Plymouth house fire
Police investigating a suspected arson in the Lipson area of Plymouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
Officers were called by the fire service to a property Bernice Close just after 4.15pm on Thursday 2 February.
The sole occupant of the house had managed to get out but was treated for smoke inhalation and burns to his hands at the scene.
The house was badly damaged by the fire, and investigators suspect arson.
Investigators are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen other people at or near the house shortly before the fire broke out.
