Pedestrian seriously hurt in Truro collision

Officers are seeking witnesses to a collision in Truro which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

Emergency services were called at 10.40am today, 14 May, after a black Citroen DS3 was in collision with a woman on Union Hill.

The woman, in her 40s and from Truro, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital.

Roads policing officers closed the road for several hours for an investigation of the scene and for the car to be recovered. It has since reopened.

They are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
