Appeal after motorcyclist dies in collision, Beaford

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Beaford near Great Torrington yesterday, 14 May.

Emergency services were called at 5.50pm after the Harley Davidson motorcycle was in collision with a Mitsubishi Outlander parked on a driveway on the A3124.

The rider, in his 60s and from Barnstaple, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officers closed the road for five-and-a-half hours for investigative work including an examination of the scene.

They are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV of the incident.
