Appeal after group assault man in Plymouth street
Officers are investigating after a man was subjected to a sustained assault by a group of people in a Plymouth street.
The man in his 20s was walking home along Beacon Park Road when he encountered a man with three to four women.
An altercation took place before the victim was then pushed over several times, punched and assaulted by several members of the group. He suffered a number of injuries including a broken hand.
The sustained attack took place between Beacon Electrical and The Cherry Tree pub from 3am until 3.25am on Sunday 20 April.
Officers are investigating and seeking the suspects. The man was riding a 125cc red motorcycle and wearing a black helmet. The bike may have been a ‘19’ plate.
They would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who may have captured the incident on CCTV, their doorbell cameras or dashcam.
