Appeal following racial incident in Hayle
We are seeking witnesses following a report of a hate crime in Hayle.
It was reported that on Tuesday 18 August around early evening a woman shopping in Asda Hayle was subjected to racial abuse at the self-service checkout area in the presence of other customers.
The matter was reported to us earlier this month.
Officers investigating the incident are seeking to trace witnesses - in particular a customer using the tills next to the victim at the time.
